Viewing an Image

If you have Netscape Navigator version 2.X or 3.X, you can view an image and find its pixel size easily. Position your cursor over the image and depress the right mouse button. You'll get a dialog box with a number of choices -- choose "view image." The image will be displayed in the Netscape window in its original size. Its width and height in pixels will be displayed in the title bar with text something like [JPEG Image 515x309 pixels].

Netscape Communicator and Microsoft Internet Explorer do not appear to have this feature.

You also can open your image in your image manipulation program (Adobe Photoshop, PaintShop Pro, etc.) and use its "image size" feature to find the dimension in pixels.
